OMGTech! and MOTAT are joining forces again for techweek18 to engage and inspire young people, educators, industry and the wider public to explore the future possibilities of science and technology! Over an action packed weekend during Tech Week 2018 MOTAT will host OMGTech! Rangers Events for up to 200 kids. It will be a fun couple of days of exploring and building confidence with technology for 8 - 12 year old kids in Auckland.

This event will be broken into two mornings/afternoons of workshops. Saturday will be focused on how “Software” & Science, kids will learn to code and design games, learn to prototype things for 3D Printing and discover some awesome science. Sunday will be an exploration of “Hardware” workshops will include programming robots, playing with electronics, and pulling stuff apart to understand how our technology does what it does! It will be a hugely fun few days with some inspiring people showing kids how to make technology work, and hopefully light a few sparks that burn on to create our next generation of future innovators and inventors.
Kids will also get a chance to see the awesomest stuff at Motat as part of the events.

Arrival and Departure

· Children are to be dropped off at Gate C on Stadium Road at 10am where they will be met by a Host and escorted to the workshop.

· At the end of the workshop, children will be taken back to Gate C by the Host to be collected by their parents at 3.30pm.

All tickets are 1+1 tickets which give admission to your child and at the same time sponsor a kid who can't afford to.

Lunch will be provided
